Poached Figs, in white wine, honey, & orange

A tasty little preserve that goes well with vanilla or olive oil flavored ice cream, pound cake, and cheeses. A wonderful addition to the cheese plate.

Ingredients: white figs, white wine, orange peel, star anise, honey.
