Caparra e Siciliani Ciro' Rosso Superiore 2017

Light bodied, high toned (nice acid), dry red. This is a food wine, but that shouldn’t scare you. Bright red cherry, spicy and woodsy, violets, whiff of smoke.

The Caparra & Siciliani families have been in the biz since the 19th century. They have a solid agrarian and wine-growing tradition and created their brand in 1963. The company operates exclusively in the area of Cirò and of the Cirò Classico zone, working their own vineyards. They conduct their business with genuine passion for wine and a deep understanding of the Ciro’ area. They work with one of Italy’s most renowned oenologists, Dr. Fabrizio Ciufoli.
