2021 FUSO Puglia Primitivo Filippo Cassano CALX

Certified organic and a minimal intervention wine, this Primitivo drinks lighter and brighter than its counterparts. It’s a wine for all occasions: an easy drinking red that can stand a slight chill, white meat dishes, or even a red for when you just can’t bring yourself to drink white with fish.

“Calx” means limestone. The limestone soils give the Primitivo grape freshness, with notes of zingy red berries and dried figs.
