Where’s Umbria? Just below Tuscany, Umbria is “famously” known as the only landlocked region in Italy. It boasts its own native varietals, such as Trebbiano Spoletino, and is perhaps home to even more obscure grapes than those of the deep south.

Fongoli is also a natural producer in that he practices organic in the vineyards, minimal intervention winemaking, and ZERO sulfur at bottling. It’s got character, without the natural stink.
