2021 Manenti Frappato Vittoria DOC

Located in the historical district of Vittoria 25km from the sea, in the province of Ragusa, you will find husband and wife team Gugliemo and Marita Manenti. This winemaking duo practice biological/ sustainable farming with minimal intervention in the vineyard. They have adopted the practice of I Vigneri (as seen on his bottles), spearheaded by the enologist Salvo Foti. This method of grape growing and winemaking philosophy is built on winemaking as it once was: bush (head trained) vines (alberello), exclusive use of native grapes, manual labor, respect of the terrain and the natural cycles of flora and fauna, minimal or no chemical usage.
