Bisceglia “Terra di Vulcano” Aglianico del Vulture 2018

An easier drinking Aglianico from the Vulture region in Basilicata. Still dry and full, but no harsh tannin. If you’re used to fuller boded Cabernet Sauvignon, the Bisceglia Aglianico is your jam.

After many years in the corporate food industry, Mario Bisceglia returned to his land to begin this adventure and founded the estate in 2001. Together with winemaker, Giovanni Riviezzo, his goal is to continually produce world-class wines made with both indigenous and international varietals grown in the Basilicata region.

They are centered in the Lavello district of the Aglianico del Vulture DOC. Soils are calcareous and clay- loam and rich in potassium.
