2018 Biondi "Outis" DOC

The Biondi family has a long tradition of grape growing and winemaking on Mt. Etna. It was not, however, until 1999 when Ciro and Stef Biondi decided to return to the family vineyards and reinvest in the family business did their wines gain notoriety. The Biondi are one of the founding wineries of Mt. Etna’s new wave of winemaking and truly deserve credit in its exploding reputation.

Outis means “no one” and is a blend of native Aetnean grapes: Carricante, Cattarato, & Minella. Bright acidity, stony minerality, notes of white flowers, peach, apricot & herbs. A fantastic introduction to the whites of the region.
