2024 'A Vita Leuko’ Bianco Calabria IGT (Ciro’)

70% Greco Bianco, 30% Gaglioppo 11.5%

Presenting visually and in the glass as a white wine--since there's no maceration here (any color comes from the direct pressing of Gaglioppo), should we stop labeling this as an orange wine? 

Underripe/pithy lemon, verbena, something vegetal like celery and rhubarb, white pepper, balanced acidity and mintiness lifting the whole. Hints at slightly higher abv than 11.5% but then trapped co2 and overall crunch make this very drinkable and savory.  Finishes yeasty, saline, clayey, less on the fruit but equally long.
