2021 Due Terre Iancu Bianco Terre Siciliane IGT Liter

Due Terre Wines is a collaboration between friends. All wines are made from the indigenous grapes of Sicily and all are certified organic, with minimal intervention and wine making in order to allow the characteristics of the grape to shine through. Sicily has the largest number of organic vineyards in Italy, but these grapes are often sold off as bulk wine to the north. Dur Terre is reclaiming these grapes and bottling them as wines of origin, rather than allowing them to disappear into another anonymous bottle of bulk wine.

The winemaking is simple: Grapes were harvested in mid-September, gently pressed and cold fermented at 57° F/13° C for 15 days, and then simply aged for 4
months in concrete tanks.
