2020 L'Archetipo Niuru Maru Negroamaro

Elegant and fresh Negroamaro, anyone? Words rarely used to describe wines made from this grape variety.

From Castellaneta, Puglia, about 350m asl with mixed soils of sand, clay and even calcareous material (we are close to Matera in this zone), this wine is unlike any Negroamaro you've ever tried, we're willing to bet.

Organic + (certified organic, but go beyond)

The Dibenedetto family's commitment to the land via their own system of Agricoltura Sinergetica, influcenced by the biodynamic teachings of Rudolph Steiner and the "do nothing" method of Japanese philosopher and agriculturalist Masanobu Fukuoka, undoubtedly transfuses an electric shock of aliveness to their wines. 

Still full of the dark cherry, leathery aromas of Negroamaro, but bright and lifted like a Pinot Noir.
