2020 L'Acino Chora Bianco Calabria IGT

Dino Briglio founded L'Acino in 2006 with two childhood friends who have since amicably moved on from the project. As natives of the mountain town of San Marco Argentano, the winery is a communal effort to express the oft-forgotten possibilities of Calabrian terroir.

At 650 meters and North facing, the vineyard sites are particularly cool, providing a lighter, more elegant style than most would expect of Calabrian wine. Dino farms the grapes organically and practices minimal to no chemical intervention in the winery- all native/spontaneous fermentation, with little sulfur at bottlings.

The Chora Bianco is super fresh, bright, mineral focused. A perfect aperitivo (start to the meal) wine.
