2022 Foti "Radica" Alicante Sicliia IGT (Bronte, Etna)

A passion project from the Foti brothers, the "i Figli" to the "Salvo Foti e Figli" brand, this wine is 100% old vine Etnean Guarnaccia/Alicane from Contrada Tartaraci in Bronte. The lifted, fruity but bright, dry, mineral expression of the grape. 

Vineyard: VINCENZO VINEYARD (dedicated to Foti's grandfather). Vineyard with largely centenary bushvines

Grapes: Grenache (Alicante)

Altitude:1010 meters, Contrada Tartaraci (Bronte)

Exposure : North-west

Vinification: the manually harvested grapes are placed in old open tonneaux. A carbonic semi-maceration is carried out for about 1 week. Subsequently the grapes are pressed and fermentation with indigenous yeasts and aging in steel continues for about 6 months.

Approximately 2,000 bottles made.
